Roxborough School of Nursing rankings and reviews

Here are some excerpts from reviews of the Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing on Niche :
1- I am a Biology educator in the SUNY system and a family member attended Roxborough. I approved of the lower tuition and thought that smaller program might be more supportive. We also thought that the high NCLEX pass rates and their assertions that 90% of admitted students finished the program were good signs. I know nursing school is just hard, but this program really seemed to ruin the mental health of many of the students, including my family member. At least 50% of the people that started the program failed. At this point, my family member has passed the 2-yr program and has gone through the graduation ceremony, but if they don't hit a certain score on a standardized exam (NOT the NCLEX, the ATI predictor), they will be failed from their last class and not be eligible for readmission. This school only cares about its NCLEX pass rates, and not about the success of the students it trained.
2- I haven't really experience them. However over the phone to deal with all my paperwork have been fantastic. They are very nice and caring. Hopefully I will have the same experience once school starts.
3- Awful! Terrible nursing program! How medicine and nursing can be taught in less than 2 years??? Pharmacology, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Anatomy and Physiology, Dosage Calculations, Clinical Nursing Skill, Pediatrics, Maternal and Newborn Nursing are extremely challenging courses. ( And it is not a complete list of the nursing classes).
