Accreditation
Make sure the nursing school is accredited by a reputable accrediting body, such as the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Accreditation ensures that the school meets high standards for nursing education and that its graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam.

Faculty credentials
The quality of your nursing education depends on the quality of your instructors. Look for a nursing school with faculty who have advanced degrees and relevant experience in nursing.

Smaller class sizes and lower student-to-faculty ratios can lead to a more personalized learning experience.
Program length
Nursing programs can vary in length, depending on the type of degree you are pursuing. Choose a program length that aligns with your career goals and time constraints.
Location
Consider the location of the nursing school when making your decision. If you plan to work while attending school, you may want to choose a school that is close to home or work.
